We are excited to kick off Year 2 of the Townie Ruck Club, running January 1 – December 31, and we wanted to make sure everyone has the details as we head into the new year.
It’s a year-long challenge focused on consistency, community, and getting outside.
• 20 miles of rucking per month
• 240 miles total for the year
• Ruck with us during organized rucks or on your own
• Track your miles in the Townie App
• Miles add up all year long
• Complete at least 20 miles every month → earn an exclusive CrossFit Townie Ruck Club shirt
• Log the most miles for the year → chance to win a Go Ruck rucksack
In addition to the Ruck Club itself, we will continue hosting quarterly community rucks, partnering with local nonprofits to raise awareness and support their missions. Last year’s South GA Ruck was our biggest one yet, and we’re excited to keep building on that momentum in 2026.
All members are automatically included. You choose how often you ruck and how long each ruck is, just aim for that 20-mile monthly goal.
The Townie Ruck Club is about people. It’s about showing up, encouraging one another, and doing something together that builds connection and accountability. Ruck when you can, invite a friend or family member to join you, and be part of the energy that makes this community what it is. Every mile logged helps strengthen the culture we’re building at Townie.

How do I book a fee discovery call?
We’d love to meet you! You can book your call by filling out our contact form or by sending a text to 229-999-4854. We’ll reach out quickly to confirm a time that works for your life.
How long does it take to see results?
You’ll start feeling stronger and more capable quicker than you might think! While long-term transformation is a journey, most of our members notice a real difference in their strength and fitness within the first month. As long as you show up, we’ll make sure the results follow.
Do I get the chance to meet new friends?
Definitely! One of the best parts of CrossFit Townie is the community you’ll build here. We keep our classes small so you can easily connect with the people sweating alongside you. You’re not just joining a gym; you’re joining a group of friends who will cheer for you every step of the way.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
We are more than just a place to work out. We are a community dedicated to your growth. We’re here to support you, push you, and build you up—because at CrossFit Townie, your victory is a victory for all of us.
How often do you recommend I train?
If you’re just starting out, we recommend joining us for 2 to 4 classes a week. As you get stronger over the first few months, we can work up to 5 days together! It’s important to listen to your body as you adjust to this new intensity. We’ll help you prioritize your recovery so you can stay consistent and feel your best.
Do you provide recovery drinks and snacks?
We have filtered water available to our members. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.
Do I have to be fit to join?
Not at all. At CrossFit Townie, any fitness level is welcome at our center. Whether you are an athlete or haven't worked out in years, we’ll meet you where you're at. Our coaches are experts at modifying every movement to match your experience and ability, ensuring you get a great workout that is safe and effective for your body.
Which payment methods do you accept?
To make things as easy as possible for you, we accept all major credit and debit cards for your membership. Please note that we don't accept personal checks at this time.
What kind of exercises should I expect during a workout?
Expect variety and expert coaching! A typical class with us includes: Strength & Skill: We’ll coach you through movements like squats, lifts, or new skills. The Workout: A daily programmed session ranging from 5 to 20+ minutes. No matter the exercise, we provide the modifications you need to succeed.
Can I still eat my favorite foods?
To make things as easy as possible for you, we accept all major credit and debit cards for your membership. Please note that we don't accept personal checks at this time.
